As Director and Financial Advisor, Ryan draws from his 29 years of experience in the financial services industry to provide long term wealth management solutions that help families and businesses work to achieve their financial and life goals, as well as legacy preservation. Partnering with Steve Heng, his long-time friend, and Denise Vonhof, they manage wealth for clients all over the United States and abroad. Prior to joining Baird, Ryan held several positions with Wells Fargo Bank and Wells Fargo Advisors. Starting as a bank teller in 1994 he worked his way up the ranks of the bank and ultimately into the investment side where he found his passion. While working full time in banking, Ryan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Finance from San Jose State University in 2001.
To better assist his clients, Ryan obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2012 and his CERTIFIED PRIVATE WEALTH ADVISOR™ designation in 2023. This training allowed him to deepen the conversations with his clients, specifically in the area of risk management, retirement and estate planning, as well as income, savings and tax planning.
Committed to the Community
Ryan is a lifelong martial artist, practicing in several different disciplines and holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Kovar’s Satori Academy, a Kempo Based system. He is currently working on his assistant instructor designation in this discipline. Ryan volunteers as a first responder in the Elk Grove / Galt Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program.

When not in the office, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife Corinne and their three children Conner, Mason and Amber.
Ryan and his family are actively involved in many sports, including backpacking, snowboarding and 4-wheeling, to name a few.
Having a passion for the arts, Ryan and Corinne are longtime supporters and season ticket holders of Broadway Sacramento.
